ABOUT DON BOSCO IRINGA
Don Bosco Youth Training Center, Iringa Community, runs the Technical College and daily Youth center. VTC Iringa is located in the city’s deprived suburbs. The center, which opened in 1981. Beside these activities, the community is also a home for the young people who are aspiring to become Salesians. In the Youth Centers, there are various activities that are taking place for the physical, psychological and emotional well-being of the young people. In the Technical College, the Salesians Further, the center also imparts social values in students to prepare them for life. The center offers a variety of courses in Printing, Masonry, Carpentry, Computer, Solar energy, Tailoring, Electrical, Motor Vehicle Mechanics as well as Welding and Fabrication. Courses offered by the center range from two to three years to 6 months and provide a recognized VETA level III certificate. Moreover, the community strives to provide all students access to excellence and opportunities to better livelihoods.
